SD1-DISCO CompactPCI® Serial  SATA Drive Carrier Board (2.5-Inch or 1.8-Inch) The SD1-DISCO is a peripheral slot card for CompactPCI® Serial systems. The SD1-DISCO accommodates either a 2.5-inch size SATA SSD/HDD, or a Micro-SATA 1.8-inch SSD, removable through a front panel slot. SATA redrivers are provided for signal conditioning. With two or more SD1-DISCO boards in a system, a RAID storage system can be configured. Front panel LEDs indicate drive status information. A solid state drive (SSD) is recommended for optimum performance, even in a harsh environment.
